Ellie Goulding
Ellie Goulding was born Elena Jane Goulding in Hereford on December 30, 1986. She gained the attention of the world in 2010 with her singles "Starry Eyed" and "Guns and Horses," British vocalist Ellie Goulding quickly rose to the highest of the charts thanks to her enthralling electronic pop style. Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Goulding is at the top of the movement, just like Kate Bush and Imogen Sheap, of mainstream contemporary music, and independent, artistic pop. Her soprano and her talent for writing emotional songs are what make her distinct. Polydor Records eventually signed Goulding to a major recording deal. The album she released was scheduled for release.
