Ellie Goulding
Ellie Goulding is a British artist and singer. Her birth name is Elena Jane Goulding on 30 December 1986, in Hereford. The public was captivated in 2010 with her singles "Starry Eyed" and "Guns and Horses," British vocalist Ellie Goulding quickly climbed to the top of the charts due to her energetic electronic pop. Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Goulding stands at the top, like Kate Bush and Imogen Sheap, of mainstream contemporary music as well as independent artistic pop. Her soprano voice as well as her knack for writing emotionally honest songs are what make her stand out. Polydor Records signed her to an agreement with a record label and she started preparing for the debut album.
