Ellie Goulding
Ellie Goulding is a British singer and songwriter. She was born Elena Jane Goulding on 30 December 1986 in Hereford. Ellie Goulding rose quickly to the top with her electronic pop music after getting the attention of the world through her hit songs "Starry Eyed" as well as "Guns and Horses" in 2010. Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Goulding makes a mark as a contemporary musician with her distinctive singing voice that is soprano and the ability of creating songs that are catchy and emotional. She's akin to Kate Bush, Imogen Heap and other artists of the same ilk. She ultimately signed a major-label agreement with Polydor Records and began making plans to launch her debut album.
