Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw, also known as Elizabeth Alice MacGraw, is an American author and designer who has received numerous awards for her work. She advocates the rights of animals. She has been acclaimed for films like Love Story (from 1970), Goodbye Columbus, (1969) as well as The Getaway, (1972). New York was her home and she was brought up in an environment that was artistic. Her first job was as a photo assistant then turned to modeling and acting. Her name was highlighted in her first two movies and won the Golden Globe Award for Most Popular Newcomer. MacGraw's 1970 movie Love Story was an international hit, earning the actress an Academy Award nomination and Golden Globe Award. Within three years MacGraw was ranked as the number one female box-office starter in the whole world. In Grauman's Chinese Theater In 1972, she had her handprints and signature engraved. Also, she appeared in The Getaway Convoy Players TV Miniseries The Winds of War, and other films. Moving Pictures, her 1991 autobiography, came out. MacGraw has been married 3 times.
